About Me
Welcome Y’all!
My friends, family, and clients know me as a storyteller, curator, and color enthusiast. Color is my love language! Color plays a big part in all that I do, from the way I dress to the way I entertain! I believe that life’s full of occasions to be celebrated – and that’s what Have a Ball Style + Design is all about. Through smart design, a heaping portion of southern charm, a dash of whimsy, attention to detail and a vibrant color story, I curate meaningful and memorable events that bring my clients’ narratives to life.
As a native Virginian and active member of the Richmond community, I have served as the President of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA), and have active memberships at The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, The Tuckahoe Woman’s Club, The Woman’s Club, Withit, The Junior League of Richmond and The Alumnae Association of Mary Baldwin University.
Outside of my studio, I also enjoy my two pups, Martini and Eloise, painting, travel, gardening, and creating art. I find inspiration in all that is around me right along with my beautiful daughter and my late mother. Of course I am an avid entertainer and love hosting friends and colleagues at my home which I affectionately call my laboratory!
Have a Ball Style and Design is about more than just putting on a great party or creating a great space. It’s about the people, homes and stories that make up our community and fill our lives.
